Bety Comerford is an ordained Spiritualist Minister and shamanic practitioner with over 20 years’ experience assisting those who seek a better understanding of their lives and where they fit in on their path. She has been writing since she was a baby - meticulously planning on paper how to break out of her crib. It wasn't until she had her first story published in 2nd grade that she knew she wanted to become a published writer. She wrote fiction for many years and has the rejection slips to prove it. It wasn't until she met her partner-in-crime Steve Wilson and studied shamanism with him that she knew she had to share her experiences with energy and empathy with others. Her partnership with Steve as a student of spirituality has now expanded to a writing partnership.
When she is not writing, you can find Bety and her husband enjoying their three dogs, (two of whom are rescues) who keep them busy and, as she says, are the best teachers in using and understanding energy. She is an avid reader -- history, biographies and murder mysteries being her favorites.
Bety holds a BA in History (with a minor in English) and a Masters of Science in Taxes (interesting combo, especially since she hates figures), loves to explore historical places, as well as sacred sites. She has travelled throughout the US, Europe and South America, immersing herself in the local culture because “the more you learn about others, the more you learn about yourself.” She is also an enthusiastic knitter and a confirmed “yarn-a-holic.”
